We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Family Worker to contribute to our successful team.
Location Based at HMP Erlestoke, Devizes, Wiltshire
Hours Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience
Your responsibilities will include
- Communicating with family member on the progress of a service user and providing information on the recovery process.
- Assessing each service user’s current family situation, identifying concerns about the impact of substance misuse on close personal relationships.
- Assisting on making realistic plans to aid the recovery process.
- Providing essential recovery work to vulnerable people and their families.
- Considerable experience of working directly with families in a field such as prison, social work, drug and alcohol recovery, probation, health, education, youth, and community.
- Sound working knowledge of Child Protection.
- Ability to engage with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Sensitivity in working with complex family issues.
