About the Role:
As the Director of Global Brand, you will be responsible for growing and optimising the Loam Bio company brand to be one of the most recognisable and trusted brands in sustainable agriculture globally. You will be in the fortunate position of driving the foundational establishment of a new mission aligned brand with great credibility. You will own both the Loam Bio company brand, while also supporting the global expansion of our core product brands, SecondCrop and CarbonBuilder, amongst others.
This role requires a resourceful and creative operator with a keen understanding of agriculture, farmer needs, and the climate landscape. You will lead a small team dedicated to crafting a brand and establishing brand presence, overseeing brand identity, and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints of brand interaction. The scope of this role is truly global, spanning our customers across Australia, the United States, Canada and Brazil.
Note: We are open to this role being based in either Australia or the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with the Loam's overall objectives and resonate with target audiences worldwide
- Define and communicate the Loam Bio brand's unique value proposition, ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels and markets
- Manage and strategise media efforts to enhance brand visibility and impact worldwide
- Oversee the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, ensuring adherence to brand standards in all marketing collateral, packaging, and communications
- Own and optimise key resources and channels, including Loam's website and social media channels, for maximum impact.
- Provide creative direction and guidance to internal and external teams to ensure that all brand assets, including visual elements and content, reflect the brand's essence and resonate with the target audience
- Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive threats, and use insights to inform brand strategies and tactics
- Drive the expansion of the brand into new markets, leveraging insights from market research and adapting brand strategies to local cultural nuances and consumer preferences
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of brand initiatives, and regularly analyse performance data to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in brand management or marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing global brand initiatives
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty
- Strong creative vision and the ability to translate brand strategies into compelling visual and verbal communication
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights to inform decision-making
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Experience working in a global or multicultural environment is highly desirable
- Proficiency in market research and analysis tools, as well as familiarity with digital marketing platforms and technologies
