About The Role

This is a Fixed Term post until 30th September 2024. working 35 hours per week.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive professional person to the Facultys Student Recruitment team to help meet ambitious student recruitment forecasts and to contribute to and implement the Universitys wider recruitment strategy.

The Marketing, Recruitment and International Assistant will deliver the highest levels of excellence in professional support in the following functions:

  • Events and activities support supporting the planning and delivery of in-person and online student recruitment and outreach activities, including (but not limited to) open days, summer schools, webinars, and clearing.
  • Communications responding to enquiries and delivering outgoing communications plans with prospective students, and managing the teams CRM database.
This role will suit applicants who are looking for a short-term entry-level position within the higher education sector, and in the fields of administrative support, communications and events support.

The post holder will need to be highly organised, proactive, with a strong eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
