We’re an online retailer in the automotive space operating multiple brands and selling direct to the end user.

We have big ambitions, aiming to be the leader in our field, and are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to help us smash our goals.

As Head of Operations, you’ll be leading our fulfilment and on-demand production teams at our site in Crewe as well as overseeing our European 3PL operation.

Key responsibilities shall include:

  • Leading our Operations team, creating a customer centric working culture that continually strives for improvement
  • Working with the leadership team to develop the business strategy, using your in-depth operational knowledge to advise on how we can achieve our goals
  • Overseeing the fulfilment operation (including receipt of goods, kitting, pick and pack) as well as the on-demand production team who produce tailored fit car mats
  • Planning and implementing scalable process and system improvements to improve efficiency and quality
  • Improving communication channels
  • Managing the operational P+L, achieving maximum productivity and making sure costs are kept in check
  • Making key decisions on investment in resource and equipment
  • Collaborating with key stake holders in the business, such as suppliers, clients and couriers, to fully understand operational requirements
  • Feeding back and presenting to the business on performance and future initiatives

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly experienced in the operational requirements of an e-commerce business
  • An expert in e-commerce order fulfilment and ideally previous experience with on-demand production
  • Ideally experience working with international fulfilment centres
  • A solid commercial understanding, with the ability to look beyond the numbers to the value created
  • A strong leader with infectious enthusiasm who inspires and motivates
  • An innovator who looks at things differently, enjoys solving problems and doesn’t mind getting stuck in
  • An efficient operator with a strong grasp of technology
  • An excellent project manager with a keen eye for detail

Salary - £60,000-65,000

Holidays - 28 days + your birthday off, increasing with long service

Monday to Friday 8-4 or similar

Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
