About this Role

We’re looking for a fantastic event manager to join our event operations team. As a member of the team you’ll have the opportunity to work on various aspects of the event and directly contribute to the growth and success of the show.

Event Manager Responsibilities:

  • Registration system management; Having a complete understanding of our end-to-end registration system and be the expert user for Trybe
  • Customer support, such as responding to all inbound requests and questions
  • Maintaining the team calendar and helping organize team travel plans
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date registration reports
  • Expert user of the meetings program technology & helping to manage the meetings program & comms in the run up to the event & post event
  • Other event logistics tasks, as needed, such as sourcing new vendors, updating tracking documents or reports
  • Creating and updating registration workflow, systems & process documents
  • Ad hoc operational projects throughout the event planning cycle (e.g. signage plans; ancillary events; sponsor activations) as and when required

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing calendar
  • Working with creative team to manage marketing assets and deliverables
  • Liaise with marketing partners to ensure deliverables are submitted on time
  • Manage deployment of internal database emails
  • Manage Trybe social media postings (Twitter & LinkedIn)

To be successful in this role, you must have/be:

  • 1-3 years of experience working on an event or conference
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Be extremely detail-oriented, be a take-charge problem-solver
  • Take ownership of your work and see projects through completion
  • Ability to stay organized when facing multiple priorities
  • Have a strong customer service mentality
  • Be a team player

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $65-75K, commensurate with experience and performance.
