Job Title: Legal Team Assistant, Business and Legal Affairs, International Television & Digital Distribution, EMEA (Fixed Term Contract – 1 Year)

The role of Legal Team Assistant will be part of, and provide administrative support to, the in-house legal team that provides business and legal affairs advice on all aspects of television and digital licensing throughout EMEA. Reporting directly to Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, International Television & Digital Distribution, EMEA, the Legal Team Assistant will be responsible for the smooth running and administration of the legal team, and requires a proven track record of excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A self-motivated individual who has willingness to learn with a great ability to remain resilient in the face of challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing contract signature process including, preparing contracts for signature, tracking signature, and internal distribution and filing of fully executed agreements.
  • Manage and maintain work / contract logs. Monitoring team emails and updating logs on a daily basis.
  • Email and diary management for Senior Vice President.
  • Team diary management, including setting up meetings and calls.
  • Travel and expenses management.
  • Responsibility for basic legal tasks and projects.
  • Assisting in the preparation, and tracking, of tax documentation.
  • General administrative duties (e.g. filing, photocopying/scanning, printing, updating schedules, tracking deadlines and expiry dates etc).
  • Liaising with and updating other teams (e.g. sales planning, servicing, finance) in London and LA.

Key Skills required:

  • Ability to demonstrate legal admin experience essential.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and use own initiative, with a desire to be innovative to help drive Lionsgate business forward.
  • Good communication at all levels (verbal and written) and ability to work collaboratively throughout the company.
  • Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • A problem solver who is willing and eager to learn on the job.
  • Proud to be part of team and ability to work well as part of a team, working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
  • Organised, good time management skills with ability to work well under pressure within a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Delivers consistent high quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
