Salary: Salary varies by location and experience. We will disclose that information to candidates we are interested in meeting with before an interview takes place.

Position Overview:

As a Proofreader, you will possess the proverbial eagle eye and understand the intricacies of the dash family. This team handles high volume on tight schedules, so speed and accuracy are key. You’ll support a wide range of communications, from client statements to marketing emails, social media ads, mortgage direct mail, and more. You’ll be charged with maintaining our Style Guide, which aggregates the brand guidelines we all follow into one document. You’ll work closely with our also-talented Designers, Writers, and fellow Proofreaders to help us deliver error-free, grammatically perfect assets to our clients.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of expert-level proofreading experience.
  • Knowledge of AP Style and excellent command of English grammar.
  • Familiarity with workflow tools as well as MS Office Suite.
  • An eye for detail, and aren’t too shy to ask questions of Writers, Designers, or clients.
  • A curiosity about our clients' products and/or services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience working on a team alongside Designers and Writers.
  • The ability to work under very tight deadlines, handling multiple projects at once.
  • A penchant for organization and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency at managing your workload and timelines.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
