The Digital Manager’s role is own all aspects of the Lorealparis.co.uk website user experience: content and product uploads (in line with UK marketing calendar), integration and functionality of tools and services (global and local), technical fixes (on going testing and raising tickets), creation and optimisation of SEO content (supported by SEO agency), and performance reporting (using internal and industry tools). Working with brand marketing and channel teams to understand key themes, campaigns, product launches, seasonal messaging and how the site can support the end-to-end journey (homepage, PDPs, brand stories, tools) - briefing creative & copy where necessary.

You will work in synergy with UK and International teams, and agency partners, to uphold Lorealparis.co.uk as our digital flagship – ensuring best-practice functionality and content, timely uploads and accuracy of product catalogue and brand claims.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Website Management: Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, imagery and smooth day-to-day running of the brand website – including content updates (working with brand team), technical fixes (raising tickets with agency).
  • Search: Working with Global Team, CDMO and agencies to inform the strategic framework around organic and paid search. Working with category teams to ideate search topics in line with media campaigns and trends.
  • Services: Integrate all global + CDMO tools & services on local brand site, ensuring excellence in execution, maximising discoverability and engagement/completion. Track performance & provide reports to local brand teams.
  • Ratings & reviews: Managing the end-to-end process of generating ratings for all NPDs via our brand community and syndicating all reviews across our own website and retailer partners via Bazaar Voice.
  • Reporting – Execution of brand level digital reporting, proactively managing optimisations based on learnings.
  • Budget – Ownership of brand Digital Tracker, raising POs where appropriate and managing trend forecast.
  • Online + Offline Activation - ownership of areas of the brand O+O Transformation strategy that touch the brand website i.e. ensuring correct usage of QR Codes and associated content via the Resolver tool. Advise on digital best practice to UK brand teams.
  • Day to day support to brand team (and wider divisional digital team) - A ‘go-to’ person for all things brand website. Close alignment with NPD in order to support digital projects & activations, including help with uploading media content where needed.
  • Market understanding - of competitor best practice, new tools, industry news.
  • Innovation and Agency Liaison – Working with multiple functions across the business to onboard new innovative vendors and managing relations and spendings.
  • Strategic focuses:
  • Innovation Projects – Working across new innovation and third party tools with DMI, WSF, and CMO. (ie chatbots, Yieldify, WYNG etc.)
  • Continue to widen understanding of digital topics across CPD and wider business, attend agency meetings where possible.
  • Help lead select processes / relationships (i.e. webmastery) for CPD, by sharing best practice (activations & process) with other brand teams & digital contacts.
Who You Are
  • Demonstrable experience in website management in a similar role
  • Solid understanding and proficiency with digital reporting and analytics tools
  • Digitally Native: you are curious around the different aspects of digital, content marketing and innovation. Keen to test, learn and innovate
  • The ability to track the success of campaigns and initiatives to optimise budget and resource
  • Entrepreneurial skills: ability to spot opportunities to drive and improve consumer engagement, whilst maintaining brand equity
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation and manage cross-functional initiatives and tasks
  • The ability to achieve results with integrity
  • Acting and leading with human sensitivity
