  • Base Salary HEO5 - $83,384 + 17% superannuation
About The OpportunityThe Faculty of Science is currently seeking a Technical Officer to provide technical support in the laboratory, greenhouse and field. They support the operations of the hybrid crops research program, undertake experiments, and collect qualitative and quantitative data. They are also responsible for ensuring work, health and safety standards are observed in their work area.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To

  • provide technical support and research assistance to staff, students, researchers, and other technical staff in the laboratory, greenhouse and field
  • prepare experiments, practicals, and tutorials in accordance with scientific protocols
  • analyse qualitative and quantitative tests by recording and computing relevant data following analytical tests and investigative tasks
