Vice President Operations

Relate Search has partnered with a national industrial manufacturer to add an outstanding leader with successful turnaround experience to their team in the Tulsa area. The Vice President of Manufacturing will oversee safety, operations, quality, continuous improvement, and profitability within multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Plant Management with guidance and direction to help them achieve safety, sales, and EBITDA objectives
• Extend guidance to Directors responsible for Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production
• Create, execute, and oversee the annual operational plan for the region
• Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reduce costs, optimize operational efficiency, and improve quality
• Offer support for financial decision-making concerning new projects, customer-related programs, and the production of products in line with divisional expectations
• Lead the development and implementation of capital investment projects focused on improving safety, quality, capacity, and cost-efficiency
• Ensure that plant leadership is supported and adequately staffed, both in terms of the quantity and talent necessary to meet regional objectives

Requirements :

• Four-year degree in Engineering, or Business (advanced degree preferred)
• 8+ years in Operations and Operational Excellence in industrial manufacturing
• Experience in Profit and Loss (P&L) management, proven expertise in turning around operations
• Proven experience in building operational teams, refining processes, and implementing procedures aligned with the strategic vision and plan for a 1-2-year period
• Ability to travel up 50%
