We are looking for an entry-level Data Analyst who should be self-directed and will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics.

Hire Type: Full Time on W2.

Role: Junior Data Analyst

Location: New york, United States

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Annually

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Identify and rectify corrupted data, addressing coding errors, and related issues.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems, ensuring data is organized in an easily accessible format.
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate the quality and significance of data.
  • Filter data by scrutinizing reports and performance indicators to detect and rectify code issues.
  • Utilize statistical tools to recognize, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends within complex data sets for diagnostic and predictive purposes.
  • Attribute numerical value to critical business functions to enable assessment and comparison of business performance over time.
  • Analyze local, national, and global trends impacting the organization and the industry.
  • Generate reports for management outlining trends, patterns, and predictions using pertinent data.
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and management to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and formulate data governance strategies.
  • Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders, detailing data analysis procedures to facilitate informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant educational qualification or degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Tableau (Optional).
  • Familiarity with Python, Big Data (Optional).
  • Proficiency in SQL.
