Credit Analyst
Position: Credit Analyst I
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $25-30/hour
Work Location: REMOTE - Open to candidates from USA EST Time Zone
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
DETAILS:
- Research direct and indirect credit bureau disputes and respond promptly to customers and credit reporting agencies.
- Ensure discrepancies are resolved accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handle sensitive consumer information, including credit bureau data, raw Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and customer account information.
- Utilize third-party data sources, internal systems, and tools to research and analyze information for credit reporting accuracy.
- Research and respond to disputes received via mail or email.
- Take action on feedback from credit bureaus, internal reporting, and third parties to ensure accurate reporting.
- Correct inaccurate account information provided to Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) and document resolutions using internal systems and e-Oscar.
- Maintain a clear understanding of current internal credit-related policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal regulations and credit industry standards
Must Have:
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Administrative and clerical experience.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with credit reporting systems.
- Experience in a banking environment.
