Teaching Assistant

Salary

£85 - £100 Per day

Job Duties

  • Assist teachers in delivering educational programmes and lessons
  • Provide support to students with their learning activities and assignments
  • Supervise students during class and in other educational settings
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Engage with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with their personal and social development
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective classroom management
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
  • Deliver intervention
  • Confidence to deliver whole class teaching when required
Qualifications
  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification would be advantageous
Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting
  • Experience in supporting students with their learning and development
Knowledge And Skills
  • Strong understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Good knowledge of the curriculum and learning objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships
  • Effective organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional training or certifications related to education or child development
Working ConditionsThe Teaching Assistant will primarily work within an educational setting. The role may involve occasional supervision of students during break times or extracurricular activities. The Teaching Assistant may need to adapt to different classrooms or learning environments based on the needs of the students and the school. The position is temporary and requires working full-time hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
