- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position requires a Secret clearance.
- Be able to maintain a current/ valid State Driver's License.
Qualifications
Basic Requirement or Individual Occupational Requirements
Education
Undergraduate Education: Major study -- any field.
Graduate Education: Major study -- law or other fields related to the position to be filled.
OR
Specialized Experience
GS- 12 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience. Your resume must demonstrate that you meet ALL the specialized experience below:
- Processing passports, visas, or country clearances; AND
- Providing technical guidance on passport and visa requirements; AND
- Interpreting and applying federal regulations governing overseas travel; AND
- Establishing interagency partnerships and professional relationships; OR
- Liaising with other organizations to resolve issues.
The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule, C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.
Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet Federal qualification requirements if you can show that your foreign education is comparable to education received in accredited educational institutions in the United States.
