The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for maintaining standards and guiding the overall quality level of platform technologies of online web-based projects. The QA Analyst performs functional, system integration, database verification, regression, load, and acceptance testing using manual/automation methods and testing tools.

What We Get
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent training and experience
  • Solid knowledge through formal education or training in Quality assurance & testing
  • 2+ years’ experience in testing with minimal supervision
  • 2+ years’ experience in creating automation scripts, preferably in the Selenium platform
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Ability to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude while experiencing challenging and dynamic schedules
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed team and attend reviews/meetings to assist in maintaining alignment
  • Ability to create and execute SQL queries
  • Experience with test case management tools, such as Azure DevOps/Azure Test Plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Analyze business and technical requirements/user stories and use-cases
  • Perform Web, API, UI, functional, integration, regression, smoke, black box and end-to-end testing
  • Participate and provide inputs in Scrum ceremonies
  • Prepare/Review test plan, test summary report, defect report, metrics, status reports, etc.,
  • Define comprehensive scenarios with variations in data to perform testing adequately
  • Design clear and concise test cases, execute and document test results
  • Review test cases and test logs created by the offshore team and provide feedback
  • Create and track bugs until closure through the bug tracking software and conduct defect triage
  • Support Product owners during UAT
  • Co-ordinate with other teams to identify and perform integration tests
  • Work with Scrum Master/Dev Leads/Product Owner on clarifications/dependency to resolve issues impacting testing/timeline/productivity
  • Create/Automate and maintain Regression Test Suite
  • Ensure compliance of the team with DAC policies
  • Work with sprint teams in reducing error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors/trends
  • Report daily/weekly status to the management and proactively communicate risks/issues with mitigation options to management
