$47.02-$49.41/hr, $8,275-$8696/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area. They develop software, services, products, and hardware devices.

DATA ANALYST 2

Summary:

The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.

-Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies

-Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions

-Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes

-Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes

-Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Top 3 Skills:

1. Scoring vulnerability (no particular system experience required. Knowledge should be transferable across platforms)

2. Azure, 2 – 4 years of experience

3. Vulnerability management; patch management, security analyst experience. Ticket queue support for patch remediation and vulnerability (capable of completing 20 per week expectation). Someone who is newer to security will be a good fit.

Years of Experience: 2-4 years of experience or an equivalent degree. Newly graduated college students tend to be a good fit for this role.

Qualifications:

Experience with database technologies

Knowledge of the ETL process

Knowledge of at least one scripting language

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated history of success

Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions

Degree/Certs: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required OR 2-4 years applicable experience

Disqualifiers: Candidates will need to have the provided questions answered prior to being submitted for the role, to help filter through qualifications.

Best: Will need a full, rounded understanding of Vulnerability management.

PI: Feedback from team & Sponsor. Quality of work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Start & End: 6/3/2024 – 6/30/2024.

Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs a week, no OT expected.

Typical Tasks:

• 80% Majority of day will be spent triaging tickets. Researching and resolving tickets with an expectation of 20 tickets per week.
• 20% Project management as needed

Interaction Level: High level of interaction with Team & Sponsor.

Work Environment: Redmond, WA.

Flex Hours/Remote: Remote approved. Local candidates preferred to allow training in person, but not a requirement. Local candidates will be prioritized, Redmond, WA or WA State.

Extension: Chance to extend.
