About The RoleThe design team at Houzz is dedicated to creating design-driven experiences for consumers and professionals everywhere, not just to convey what Houzz does, but what Houzz stands for as a brand.

We are seeking a talented Junior Brand and Marketing Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and product design teams to create visually compelling assets that communicate our brand message effectively across various channels. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from digital campaigns to print materials, helping to elevate our brand presence and drive engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Graphic Design: Create engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, web banners, email templates, and digital ads.
  • Brand Identity: Assist in maintaining and evolving our brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Content Creation: Develop creative concepts and design assets for brand and marketing initiatives such as paid ads, landing pages, infographics, and presentations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the brand and marketing team to brainstorm ideas, iterate on designs, and ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and design best practices to inform your work and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide design support for various departments within the company, including product marketing, PR, and events.
  • Production: Prepare final artwork for production and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Figma a plus.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity across various mediums.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and best practices is a plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing software is a bonus.
Compensation, Benefits And PerksThis role has an annual starting salary range of $71,500 - $90,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz. Also, depending on the role, you could be eligible for an equity award. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and specific work location.
