Responsibilities
As an Exam Invigilator, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the fairness and integrity of our exams. But that's just the beginning of what promises to be a thrilling role. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Exam Supervision: Overseeing exam sessions to ensure they run smoothly and according to established protocols, providing a supportive environment for candidates.
- Language Support: Offering assistance and guidance to Spanish-speaking candidates, ensuring they fully understand the exam procedures and any instructions given.
- Security and Confidentiality: Maintaining the security and confidentiality of exam materials at all times, adhering to strict guidelines to safeguard the integrity of the exams.
- Effective Communication: Liaising with examiners and coordinators to facilitate the smooth running of exams, providing regular updates and reports as required.
- Problem-solving: Addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during exams promptly and effectively, using your initiative to find solutions while maintaining professionalism.
- Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking candidates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, to accommodate exam schedules.
- Previous experience in exam invigilation or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
