As a valued member of our team, you'll work within a home environment delivering high-quality support to our client base and providing person-centred support.
Working as part of the support team, you'll encourage independence through well-structured support plans, assist with daily tasks (this does not include any personal care, no administration of medicine, and no restraint), and implement support plans to meet the individual’s needs. With an emphasis on high quality, the purpose of the role is to ensure that our clients are safeguarded from any presented risks whilst respecting the dignity of our clients and promoting independence.
*Requirements and skills: *
- To work with outside agencies and professionals, families, and young people to ensure that their needs are met. Also, maintain a professional manner when attending meetings for the young person either in the home or via Zoom and give clear and accurate information
- Accurate reporting writing, this can be an incident report or reports on the day-to-day activities of the young person
- To promote the young people's independence and provide a safe and caring homely environment for the young people to enjoy and grow
- To encourage young people to learn skills that will help them progress into their adult life and attend college/meetings.
- Have the knowledge and skills to recognize potential risks of harm or categories of abuse and respond appropriately to the situations ensuring the safety and protection of the young people at all times
- Have the ability to remain calm in challenging / Demanding situations
- Hourly pay of £11.50 per hour + £30 sleeps paid ( If required)

- Upon completion of induction / mandatory training a total of 40 hours paid

- Confident lone working but also working well as part of a team
- Have a good work ethic with a positive attitude
- Be a team player

- IT Literate
- Transferable enhanced DBS would be an advantage but not essential
- Confidently deal with challenging situations
- Have experience working within a similar role
- Up to 12-week structured induction plan
- Mandatory Training provided ( Refreshed once a year)
- Specific training provided as and when required
- Regular supervisions
- Flexible shift patterns available to meet the needs of the client
- If you have a transferable DBS then please let us know (Child and Adults)
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
- Be willing or have a Diploma 3
