Territory Sales Manager
The client
Our client is an OEM industrial machinery manufacturer. They have offices and operations all across the US and operate on a global scale.
There mission is the become the most respected and successful valve, actuator and controls company in the world.
They predominantly focus within the HVAC market focusing on valves and actuators, however they have a strong crossover with the controls market.
The role
Our client is looking for a South-eastern Regional Sales Manager.
As a South-eastern Regional Sales Manager, based out of a home office, your focus will be maximizing sales in your territory, in two distinct ways. Direct sales to high profile OEMs and engineering firms and by managing a network of sales employees in wholly owned branch sales offices, as well some third-party reps/distributors.
This role will see you working within the commercial HAVC market and build and maintain relationships with HVAC contractors and potential customers.
In addition to meeting with customers, you will provide technical support and solutions on products and help troubleshoot issues.
The position will have you oversee the entire sales process and follow-ups within your region.
The individual
- 3-10 years Commercial HAVC sale experience
- Experience and understanding of DDC/HVAC controls
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Sales management experience, ideally within the South-eastern region
- Experience overseeing regions such as Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Western Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas
