Role Purpose

The Human Capital Associate role based in London is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for driving strategic human resources initiatives across United Kingdom and Europe, with a specific focus on manpower planning, HC administration and payroll. This role encompasses HR strategy, compliance, and employee relations, tailored to the United Kingdom & European landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of United Kingdom and Europe labour laws, coupled with a strong track record in implementing effective HR strategies to support business objectives

Key Accountability
  • Support the Head of HC - EUR in overseeing UK and Europe responsibilities, compiling essential reports for stakeholder meetings, and providing strategic counsel to business partners on Human Capital matters.
  • Responsible for HC administrative function and management across UK and Europe, encompassing sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, onboarding and off-boarding, health & safety, ensuring a seamless candidate journey. Facilitate new employee orientation, paperwork processing and coordinate the provision of necessary resources and access. Manage employee exit process, including clearance procedures and documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all employees. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations at all times.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing for employees in UK & Europe, accurately calculating and processing employee wages while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and local laws. Responsibilities include managing timely payments, preparing regulatory documents, generating payroll and tax reports, collaborating with providers for accurate data submission, addressing queries promptly, supporting automation initiatives, and managing fiscal year-end tax reports and employee statements. Collaborate with payroll providers or internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and issues. Stay updated on payroll regulations and requirements across European countries to ensure compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation. Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations across European countries, with a focus on London and UK regulations.
  • Leveraging technology and data analytics to improve HR processes and decision-making. This may include implementing HRIS systems, analysing workforce data, and using insights to inform strategic initiatives.

Area of Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a multinational organization operating in the UK or Europe.
  • Strong knowledge of UK labour laws, regulations, and cultural dynamics, with a focus on UK employment law.
  • Experience overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with UK payroll regulations.
