On 7th March 1949, the Objectives Resolution, which now serves as the grand norm of Pakistan, was introduced by the first Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan, and later adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 12th March 1949.

The deputation was purely representing the demands of the Muslim community. If the Government had launched it, then Mohsin-ul-Mulk would not need to borrow a sum of four thousand rupees from King and King Company at the interest rate of 7% to meet the expenses of the Simla deputation. After the death of Mohsin-ul-Mulk, the company started correspondence with the Muslim league for the return of the loan and threatened to confiscate Moshin-ul-Mulk’s property.
