About The RoleReporting to the Scheduling Manager, this role is responsible for the design, modelling and documentation of reinforcing steel to Australia’s major construction projects. You will interact directly with Tier 1 customers and internal stakeholders to determine customer needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each major project.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Create and deliver accurate BIM models using Revit
- Implement design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Streamline workflows using BIM technology to improve project efficiency
- Understand project objectives and advise on engineering solutions
- Engage with clients and design engineers to achieve optimal outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders

Advantageous Skills For This Role
- Previous experience as a modeller
- Experience in steel reinforcement detailing
- Technical mindset with an ability to read and understand technical drawings to create models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- A diploma, certificate or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, architecture or animation
- Experience in modelling software such as Revit, TEKLA, Autocad or similar
