An exceptional opportunity is available for an AO4 Talent Acquisition Advisor to join a high performing and supportive team within QCS. This role of an Advisor in the Talent Acquisition Group is to deliver high quality end-to-end bulk recruitment of front-line officers.

The Talent Acquisition Group are responsible for recruiting Custodial Correctional Officers, Psychologist and Community Corrections based positions across Queensland. We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with people and providing professional candidate care.

As an Advisor, you will be responsible for providing ongoing candidate management with an aim of attracting appropriate talent for QCS operational positions. In This Role, You Will

  • Conduct a range of recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent, including resume and phone screening, psychological assessments, and facilitation of assessment centres
  • Provide ongoing candidate management
  • Act as the point of contact for the resolution of applicant queries and provide professional candidate care throughout the recruitment process
  • Identify potential risks and conflicts and escalate these to management as required
  • Undertake recruitment activities/checks to ensure applicants are eligible for appointment in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Review and analyse applications and draft correspondence to applicants as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
The Essential Requirements For This Role Are
  • Demonstrated communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills for liaising with management and staff at all levels, to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources and other relevant issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the position.
  • Effective interpersonal skills as evidenced by the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a range of competing interests.
  • Demonstrated written communication and research skills including the ability to prepare reports and submissions on complex matters.

There is a permanent opportunity as well as a 12 month temporary opportunity available.
