With over 12,000 interdisciplinary employees delivering clinical, preventive and administrative shared services in partnership with over 250 local, regional and provincial health service delivery organizations in urban, rural and remote locations across the province, our client provides patients with the best health care and health outcomes possible by partnering with health organizations, educational institutions and clinical experts to plan and deliver evidence-based, innovative and sustainable models of care that are accessible, consistent and serve the needs of all people - as close to home as possible. The largest change to the provincial health-care system in a generation is laying the foundation for strategic system realignment and improved patient care. The Provincial Health System Transformation project is transforming the provincial healthcare system to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services and delivering centralized business functions to support the delivery of care across provincial health organizations. The largest change to the provincial health-care system in a generation requires proven, province-wide leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions to build an integrated leadership team and effective pan-system relationships that drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, provide centralized business functions and provincial health services. Our client operates a jurisdictional tertiary hospital and provides a broad group of health delivery services spanning all areas of care including primary, acute and continuous across the province in urban, rural and remote areas.

  • Valid degree, diploma, or certification in project management. A copy of the degree, diploma, or certification is requested with the response.
Skill And Experience
  • Business Analysis:
    • 10 years' experience performing business analysis including developing models for operational service delivery and synthesizing findings to present to key stakeholder groups for decision making. Examples should include consolidating stakeholder input with data analysis to present findings to leadership teams to develop future state models, perform gap analyses, and develop transition plans for future state models. The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 10 years.
  • Organizational Capability Redesign:
    • 5 years' experience facilitating organizational capability redesign activities and workshops to improve system efficiency and effectiveness. Activities should include developing recommendations, conducting reviews with stakeholders, and obtaining approval with executives and senior leadership in the organization. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years.
  • Team Leadership:
    • 5 years' experience as a team lead or project lead leading teams of analysts and consultants. Experience should include planning and coordinating analysis activities and developing project plans. The response should include at least 3 examples including the duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years.
  • Excel Proficiency:
    • 5 years' experience in Excel working with data to create pivot tables and charts using worksheets data and external resources, modify pivot tables, sort items, group data, and refresh and format pivot tables. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the work that totals at least 5 years.
  • Organizational Change Management:
    • 3 years' experience in an analyst role supporting organizational change management activities. Experience should include organizational readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, and development of organizational change management plans. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 3 years.
  • Healthcare Environment Analysis and Change Implementation:
    • 3 years' experience performing analysis and implementing change in a healthcare environment. Experience should include analysis of service delivery activities, facilitation with key stakeholders, and assisting the business through change and transformation. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 3 years.
  • Indigenous/First Nations Project Experience:
    • 1 year of experience as a business analyst working for Indigenous/First Nations based projects. Experience should include meeting with management and stakeholders, requirements gathering, and change management. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.
