Job Summary:

The Commercial Project Manager is seasoned in project management with strong client-facing project management skills. This person will have experience providing project management support for field facing teams including sales and customer success organizations, ideally in a healthcare IT setting. This person will be a strategic problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities while driving a plan to execution.

The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for driving an expansion of the CardioCare business in partnership with a strategic channel partner. This role will act as a PM across the sales, implementation, launch, and customer fulfillment process. The CPM will interact with external stakeholders including channel partner project managers, channel partner sales representatives, internal sales representatives, and internal egnite teams including Technical Operations, Contract Operations, Sales, and Clinical Operations. Specific tasks on each project will include developing project plans and schedules, managing tasks and teams, identifying and resolving project management issues, communicating status, and spearheading continuous process improvement efforts. The CPM will be proactive in managing issues, risks and follow change management. This role reports into our Chief Operating Officer.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Deliver project management support for key channel partner effort to massively expand customer base size in a short period of time
  • Responsible for scope control with stakeholders, task execution with the development team and relevant upward communication to managers
  • Helps define process improvements and feedback for large, multi-part projects that need creative project management strategies required for timely execution
  • Identifies and gathers assets required for development of each project
  • Provide necessary feedback to project stakeholders (e.g., specification feedback, issue escalation to managers or scope changes/clarifications to project resources)
  • Manage handoffs at each stage in the project life cycle according to guidelines specified in the department’s development policies
  • Provide real time updates of relevant project information in the project information database

This role requires privileged access controls for critical systems or data, ensuring that only authorized employees have access to sensitive information to help prevent data breaches and unauthorized access to sensitive information.

Education and experience:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Project Management experience
  • Preferred experience working with field facing sales and/or customer success teams
  • Preferred experience working with hospital IT departments of various sizes to drive project success
  • PMP or Scrum Master, Preferred
  • Strong sense of accountability, passion for owning projects and driving them to completion
  • Keen understanding and passion for healthcare
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Emotional intelligence – self and social awareness, and self and relationship management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams including Sales, Clinical Operations, Technical Operations, and Contract Operations
  • Desire to work in fast-paced, multi-task, fluid environment capable of reacting instantly to changes in a competitive business environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work and interact with a geographically distributed team
