About this role

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and talented individual to join our team as a Marketing Content Creator. This role will report into the Marketing Director and will be responsible for developing engaging and compelling content for our social media platforms and email campaigns. This role requires a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of various platforms and a commitment to driving engagement and brand awareness.

As a successful candidate, you should have a strong passion for content creation and a deep understanding of various social media platforms and email marketing. You should possess excellent writing and editing skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to adapt your voice and style to different brand guidelines. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including regular weekend and nighttime availability to align with peak business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content across all platforms. Coordinate with various teams to align content creation with marketing objectives, new produce and events.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and relevant content (imagery and copy) for social and email platforms, that aligns with the editorial calendar. Develop compelling copy for email campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
  • Social Media & Community Management: Create a cadence and post regularly on social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn). Monitor social media channels for trends and competitor activity. Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely manner.
  • Copywriting: Craft clear, concise and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing materials, including social media posts, emails, blogs and newsletters.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of social media and email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and increase audience engagement.
  • Support with additional Marketing efforts, as needed.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, graphic design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms, social media management tools and social media analytics.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Proficient in photography content for marketing efforts.
  • Comfortable with various email platforms.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptable environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to propose innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
  • Superior organization skills.
  • Flexible hours and open to working weekends and nighttime to align with peak business hours.

Candidates must present a portfolio of previous work.

This is a contract-to-hire role, with a minimum three month contract timeframe.
