We are seeking a content creator with an eye for storytelling to lead efforts for our new company, Sun Day Red. The role of Content Creator is to collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, execute and deliver engaging content across multiple platforms that supports brand and product activities. These campaigns and executions will be promoted through Sun Day Red’s social channels, website, email, sales meetings, and other areas where needed. As content creator, s/he should love to be behind the lens, always creating across mediums – building video, and photography across multiple platforms - social, website, email, and ecommerce.

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing team to conceptualize, execute and deliver digital creative assets.
  • Create short and long form video content, with fast turnarounds, for social needs.
  • Provide support on product, athlete and brand projects while finding opportunities to be creative and proactive, thinking outside the box.
  • Work alongside the Social Media Manager to coordinate visual content needs in collaboration with the content calendar, product launches, campaigns, and events.
  • Create and supply social visual content for social media on a regular basis based on briefs. Encouraged to identify other opportunities, as well as what’s briefed in.
  • Operate and provide troubleshooting of video cameras, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Video post-production tasks which include backing up media, reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustment and color correction.
  • Final editing using Final Cut X, After Effects, and other industry standard software.
  • Ensure the equipment is maintained and cared for in a professional manner
  • Provide photography services for internal and brand activations
  • Work with and supply the wider digital and e-commerce team visual content to support email and web campaigns.
  • Shoot product photography in studio and/or in environmental settings, including post touch-ups.
  • Capture on-course athlete, lifestyle, and landscape photography
  • Provide general photography, video, and design services to the wider marketing team as and when needed.
  • Attend PGA Tour events where required to capture photography/video
  • Provide regular asset uploads to the company designated DAM on a regular basis for social media content and other uses
  • Adhere to PGA Tour guidelines and brand ID standards when capturing content on 3rd party properties
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required.
Knowledge And Skills Requirements
  • Experience with Final Cut X, Premiere, Lightroom, After Effects
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Understanding of color grading and color correction.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with ability to effectively present and promote creative work
  • A keen eye for detail and a critical mind with strong compositional and typographical skills
  • Passionate about content creation and social media. Thorough knowledge of social network platforms with a passion for learning and experimenting with new tools and technologies
  • Familiar with Sony Mirrorless Cameras or equivalent
  • Must be a team player and able to work independently. Ability to both direct and take direction.
  • Must work exceptionally well with others. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Familiar with industry trends and equipment
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies quickly in the moment
Education, Work Experience, And Professional Certifications
  • BA degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Media, Marketing or similar preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in content creation (video, photo and graphics)
  • Experience working with Canon Cinema or Red Digital cameras and Davinci Color Grading strongly preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office environment, consistent computer use
  • Frequent domestic travel required (estimated 25%)
  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
  • Ability to walk and carry camera equipment over long periods of time
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
