Who You Are
As a Data Analyst I with Frost, you will be responsible for utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis tools to provide data-driven insights that help the business achieve its strategic goals and priorities. You will use your analytical skills, innovative personality and desire to build relationships to collaborate with multiple lines of businesses. These insights will help you understand the problem at hand and create an analysis plan to leverage the appropriate data and data analysis techniques.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the line of business to understand the problem and create an analysis plan to leverage appropriate data analysis techniques to solve the problem
- Collaborate with the line of business to monitor the appropriate KPI’s that best describe the solution’s success
- Employ simple data analysis techniques to answer the business question
- Communicate data-driven insights to Product Teams, the line of business, and management, create data visualizations and scalable, logically consistent models
- Assist in the creation of scalable, logically consistent models that can be applied to projects across the organization
- Ensure data integrity by identifying and assisting with the research of data anomalies
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Familiar with standard data analysis techniques such as regression, trend lines, forecasting, modeling, and clustering (for example: Tableau, Google Analytics, Splunk, etc.)
- Proficient in at least one query language
- Familiar with statistical languages, analysis software, and core data analysis systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques such as Hypothesis Testing, Monte Carlo Simulation, Content Analysis and Narrative Analysis
- Familiar with database concepts, a variety of data types, and structured data therein
- Experience in effectively presenting data-based insights and recommendations to all levels of stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
