Nightingale Veterinary Partners is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team in New York City in a newly created, on-site role. This position will require someone experienced and comfortable with strategic thinking, implementing/refining scalable process, AND continuing to keep working a few reqs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of recruiters, fostering a supportive, collaborative, and high-performance culture
  • Create and manage scalable recruiting processes that will magnify our culture and mission
  • Build creative, innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies that produce high-quality hires and robust talent pipelines
  • Construct individual and team metrics to maintain a best-in-class recruiting experience
  • A willingness to do more than delegate - This is a hands-on role that will also require sourcing and recruiting activity
  • Develop and manage effective service standards and procedures to ensure the recruiting function operates at the highest level
  • Use data to continually identify and eliminate inefficiencies; drive metrics reporting to ensure quality and efficiency
  • As a business partner, you will foster consultatory relationships with internal leaders through clear, high-touch communication to ensure a solid understanding of their short and long-term strategic initiatives
  • Research and partner with various educational institutions and other relevant associations to further drive the organization's employment brand and aid in the identification of top talent
  • Responsible for managing the recruiting budget(s) overall; ensure ROI on tactical recruitment activities (e.g., career fairs, advertising, social media, etc.)
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition management with experience hiring at various levels and functions
  • Proven success managing recruiting budgets, Recruiters, building scalable processes, reporting, and forging mutually productive relationships with Hiring Managers
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse ATS preferred
  • Accomplished at managing in-house talent acquisition processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; veterinary or healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, management, and people skills; Team player
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to confidently develop and propose best practices
  • A good-natured and approachable collaborator who can work cross-functionally to develop effective connections
  • The ability to work on-site Monday through Friday

NYS Pay Range

$120,000—$140,000 USD
