We are looking to place a Dispatcher for our member, in Ottawa, ON. Candidates must be driven, focused, and prepared to follow instructions given by their assigned Supervisor.

Duties:

  • Analyze and evaluate incoming customer orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter data into the system accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule for HVAC and Plumbing Technicians.
  • Communicate with Technicians, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate arrival times.
  • Monitor progress and provide updates to customers as needed.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a dispatching role preferred in the 306a, 309a, 313a and/or HVAC.
  • Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in data entry and able to type accurately and quickly.
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes.
  • Experience using Service Titan or similar dispatching systems an asset.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills to assess customer orders and determine appropriate actions.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of freight transportation processes and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management principles.
As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. You will be responsible for analyzing customer orders, coordinating installations and service calls, and communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our operations.
