Job Description

The Ecommerce Merchandising Manager will join the established Ecommerce team at JDE USA. As an E-commerce Manager at JDE USA, you play a critical role in driving our online sales and enhancing the overall customer experience. You’ll be responsible for managing our e-commerce platforms, optimizing sales channels, and ensuring seamless operations. The Ecommerce Merchandising Manager will report to Director of Ecommerce Merchandising & Operations and collaborate with Ecommerce business leads, Marketing, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Merchandising – Develop and execute site merchandising strategies to achieve KPIs in accordance with company objectives. Manage regular merchandising optimizations for all company websites including site search, recommended items, upsells, home, collection, and product pages. Work with site designers to ensure regular promotional and content updates per business direction.
  • Ecommerce Program Management - In collaboration with stakeholders, manage and develop ecommerce programs and related tools including Loyalty, Product Bundles, Subscriptions, Store Locator, and Product Registration to ensure a world-class customer experience. Optimize these programs to achieve company goals including improved engagement, AOV and LTV.
  • Site UX optimization – Own and develop customer journey across multiple segments with a mobile-first approach. Manage inputs from Ecommerce Business leads, Marketing team, and partner with designers, developers, and supervisors to execute. Drive prioritization for site UX A/B testing based on data analytics and company objectives. Own UX communications between Marketing and other external teams and manage UX workflow.
  • Performance Monitoring: Will be responsible for monitoring performance analytics, website traffic, and product performance. Use this data to make informed decisions and improve the customer experience and recommend site updates.
  • Online Content Optimization – Lead development of internal processes for content management, product development and continuous improvement. Serve as thought leader, identifying new revenue opportunities through research, business unit feedback and sales performance analysis. Work with marketing and designers to optimize product and site content through full life cycle.

You will be working with a group of skilled, subject-matter experts all highly motivated and focused on team success. For this role as an Ecommerce Merchandising Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms using search, subscription, loyalty, bundle, and personalization tools, managing product data and content, and related ecommerce technology. Shopify experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools and analytics platforms such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Analytics 4, etc.
  • Ability to execute plans as provide by supervisor and/or leadership, and work alongside an experienced & determined team. Adaptable, positive, curious. Passionate about e-commerce and innovation.
  • Comfortable proposing new ideas to drive efficiency, conversion, and enhance consumer experience
  • 5-10 years of professional working experience, BA/BS in related field preferred
