About The Role

The Corporate Affairs and Communications Coordinator proactively supports the Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs, Government & Communications with high quality executive and administrative assistance.

In this role, you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities.

You anticipate the needs of the Executive General Manager and their support team and help them stay focused on delivering outcomes by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are willing to step up and take on the challenges as they arise.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks (manage calendars, manage emails, book travel, organise team events and prepare papers/presentations/reports)
  • Provide support to the Executive General Manager and broader department team members supporting them as required
  • Accounts Management including undertaking routine payment and reconciliation of incoming invoices, expenses and credit card statements for the EGM’s and monitoring spend within relevant teams
  • Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role
  • Support and contribute to the success of the broader team

  • Awareness and ability to handle highly sensitive information and situations with confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience in a similar EA type role would be advantageous
