ISB seeks a Full Time Kindergarten and Grade 1 English Teacher for the 2024-2025
School Year
Candidates should be able to use their expertise in Preschool and Elementary Education to confidently lead a preschool classroom. Teachers at ISB are expected to work collaboratively in lesson planning to implement a strong and engaging PYP curriculum. Candidates should hold a degree in Education, and have at least two years of head teaching experience in an elementary school setting.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates should enjoy creating learning experiences designed to nurture the development of the whole child in a strong collaborative work environment. Ideal candidates will enjoy using a wide array of resources to build rich learning experiences while integrating multiple approaches to ensure differentiation.
Experience working with Preschool and elementary-aged children with an ability to display effective classroom management and a strong foundation in Social Emotional Learning is important in this role. Duties include teaching foundational literacy skills in English and providing academic support. Teachers in this role should enjoy working closely with a support team within the classroom and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of PYP is a plus.
