Position Overview: ARVA Industries is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our organization into its next phase of growth and development. The General Manager will be part of the team responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, including strategic planning, business development, engineering and manufacturing, finance, quality control, and personnel management. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and delivering sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Strategic Planning:

·        Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive long-term growth.

·        Identify new market opportunities and innovative solutions to expand the company's product portfolio and customer base.

·        Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to maintain ARVA Industries' competitive edge in the industry.

·        Maximize shareholder value.

2.    Business Development:

·        Support business development efforts to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

·        Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of customers across various industries.

3.    Operations Management:

·        Manage the engineering department in product development projects, maintaining budgets and timelines. 

·        Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded.

·        Implement best practices for inventory management, supply chain optimization, and production scheduling to maximize operational efficiency and minimize costs.

·        Lead efforts to improve process reliability, reduce lead times, and enhance overall productivity through the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and lean methodologies.

·        Oversee the project management team that will drive on time and on budget project conclusions.

4.    Financial Management:

·        Develop and manage annual operating budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

·        Monitor financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

·        Drive profitability through effective cost management, revenue optimization, and resource allocation strategies.

5.    Leadership and Team Development:

·        Provide visionary leadership and direction to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

·        Mentor and develop employees at all levels, empowering them to reach their full potential and contribute to the company's success.

·        Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence, upholding ARVA Industries' values and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role within the heavy equipment manufacturing, engineering management, or related industry.
• Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, achieving business growth, and delivering results in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
• Strong strategic planning, business development, and financial management skills, with the ability to formulate and execute effective strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and compliance frameworks.
