Our mission is change lives through travel and we do that through our Cares programmes that runs alongside our not-for-profit partner, the Planeterra Foundation to ensure that the communities we visit benefit from tourism.

Graphic Designer

Location: This role is based in our office in Market Harborough.

Working Hours: Full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week 09:00 am-17:15 pm Monday to Friday with 45 minute lunch break.

Purpose Of The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Director this role will lead a team to create digital and print design for G Touring, operating under the brands of Travelsphere and Just You.

Design and develop the brands’ marketing materials, from brochures to direct mail, be part of the brand development and evolution and ensure all marketing material is suitable for the required target audience.

In This Role You Will

  • Create design solutions to inspire our customers to have an emotional connection to the brands ultimately leading to them buying our holiday experiences.
  • Manage a portfolio of design and brand developments balancing priorities, proactively managing own time and liaising with the team to meet deadlines and the demands of the business.
  • Drive and influence decision making for design, typography, layout and image choices for each brand.
  • Create compelling visual assets and designs for digital marketing campaigns and websites.
  • Inspire creativity within others by creating the environment for discussion and ideas exchange with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Bring new creative ideas and techniques that enhance and support the brand values and the travel business market.
  • Deliver design solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring a level of consistency of typography, imagery, colour and any other supporting graphics and ensuring all design is delivered to the brand guidelines.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will
  • Educated to degree level in graphic design/communications or other related subject.
  • MiddleWeight designer: minimum 5 years working within either agency or in-house at this level in the design, print and production field.
  • Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Web experience, knowledge of website pages, wireframes and mobile applications and on-site usability
  • Strong project management skills - proven experience of working on large complex design projects.
  • Have an attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be confident in own ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Take forward project work to conclusion including print ready artwork as required.
  • Be able to work in a highly pressurised environment to tight deadlines.
  • Have personal drive and self-motivation.
  • Ensure accurate and competent artwork to different suppliers and creating digital files.
  • Have great presentation skills.
  • Be passionate about design and thrive on creative challenges.
  • Have passion for the brands and travel.
