Human Resources Specialist
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with the Success Factors HRIS platform and a strong background in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and data management. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our HR department's day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of our HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
- Assist with recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial phone screenings.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the recruitment process, from posting job ads to extending job offers.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings.
Data Entry / Onboarding:
- Perform data entry tasks related to new hires, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.
- Ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization and have access to necessary resources and information.
Success Factors Reports:
- Utilize the Success Factors HRIS platform to run reports and provide valuable insights for HR decision-making.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR processes and practices.
- Ensure data integrity within the Success Factors system by regularly updating and maintaining employee records.
General HR Support:
- Assist with employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, PTO, holiday schedules, and 401K plans.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
- Stay up-to-date with HR best practices and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role.
- Practical experience with SAP Success Factors HRIS platform is required.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
