SummaryAbout the Position: Serves as Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects. Duties

  • Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects.
  • Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the program such as FUDS and/or NEPA.
  • Coordinates the planning, design, and construction for projects of normal scope and complexity as measured by their diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical intricacies, and public/regulatory issues.
  • Controls and manages project milestones and budgets.
  • Serves as the district's primary point of contact for projects assigned with customer, Federal, state, and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations, and higher authorities.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized Experience for the GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes managing scope, schedule, and budget of Civil Works projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Education
