To support our growth plans we're looking for a passionate Internal Communications Manager to join the team and own the delivery of impact communications that drive engagement and ensure all our colleagues are aligned to our purpose and strategy. 

The role 

This is a sole contributor role initially, supported by a wider People & Culture Team. You'll be confident in your abilities to own Internal Communications across the Bionic Group and your proven experience in this field will equip you in your mission to develop and deliver a best-in-class internal communications strategy. 

Key responsibilities{{:}} 

  • Develop and own all aspects of Bionic's internal communications, implementing effective internal communication initiatives and being instrumental in fostering a positive and engaging work environment for everyone 
  • Own all communication channels across the group with a view to drive employee engagement, alignment, and a positive and understood culture. 
  • Work with our leadership team to develop and deliver key messages, ensuring alignment with Bionic's purpose, strategy and values. 
  • Organisation and coordination of all people related events including our monthly and annual ‘launches', annual whole company celebrations, coffee & donut sessions, live Q&As etc 
  • Management of various internal engagement initiatives covering group-wide recognition, Highflyers incentives, coordination of key DEIB events and holidays across the year and coordination of our B-MAD charity committee. 
  • Oversee internal comms platform (Workplace) maintenance including invites, managing groups and invoices.  
  • Collaborate with the wider P&C team on key projects and other ad hoc HR materials. 

About you 

You'll be a proven communications partner, with a track record in partnering with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Ideally, you'll have operated previously in a sole contributor role.

  • A strategic thinker  
  • A strong copywriter, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling messages and storytelling 
  • A genuine passion for writing and producing effective and strategic business copy efficiently and accurately 
  • Experienced in project management, or used to spinning many plates across many workstreams 
  • Familiar with creative design tools such as InDesign or Canva 
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships across a business with colleagues at all levels 
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment, to pivot focus quickly when needed with a ‘get things done' mentality 
  • A positive problem solver with an agile mindset
