IT Operations Manager

The Coats Company is seeking a hands-on manager who will be overseeing the maintenance and support of the computing environment, monitors, and protecting the network. This individual will be actively engaged in resolving or coordinating resolution of IT equipment related issues. The position will be a 100% onsite for the first 4-6 weeks of training but can move to a hybrid role once trained. Hybrid schedule will be determined after training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams that develop and implement networks and servers and respond to user help desk requests
  • Oversee system stability and performance and resolve system issues
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the MSP and related technology vendors.
  • Implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Manage VoIP Telephone Systems
  • Manage Microsoft Windows servers and domain services including AD, DNS, DHCP and GPO
  • Oversee virtual and hyper converged infrastructure
  • Monitor Data Circuits (broadband, fiber, Internet)
  • Manage security of the network including endpoint protection, content filtering, spam filtering, and firewalls
  • Administers wired and wireless networking including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, WLCs and WAPs
  • Support workstations, peripherals, desktop phones, printers (thermal, laser) and barcode scanners
  • Establish and maintain cyber security protocols and policies and be responsible for device and password management
  • Establish and maintain backup and disaster recovery protocols and policies
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures to manage the Office365 suite
  • Working with the IT Director, managing the IT budget and resources, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of IT work experience
  • Proven experience managing in an IT environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
  • Product or system certifications a plus
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
