YOUR MISSION:

We have a great opportunity for a Junior Buyer Retail to join the team, covering a period of parental leave.

This role is responsible and accountable for supporting the Retail Merchandise team through buy plan maintenance, purchase order entry & follow up, delivery tracking, communication to key stakeholders.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Management & creation of Sales Purchase Orders from buy plan to SAP.
  • Manage order negotiation & follow up with key stakeholders.
  • Order Tracking & reporting, Buy plan updates.
  • Monitor & report on OTB (open to buy) status bi-monthly.
  • Monitoring stock and inventory for all retail channels, providing early & delayed delivery recommendations based on trade and inventory levels.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports for weekly, monthly and post-seasonal meetings.
  • Assisting the Merchandise Buying Team with range category and costing analysis.
  • Support with system and administration related functions.
YOUR TALENT:
  • University degree with business degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within buying, merchandising, or purchasing.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills Demonstrated reporting and analysis experience.
  • SAP experience required.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administration skills.
  • Keen interest in Sporting goods industry.
