Lecturer in Sport
The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject. Applicants should be willing to contribute to the development of new and existing courses and be able to inspire and motivate learners to achieve highly.
Ideally, you should have experience of teaching and personal tutor leadership within Sport and Exercise Science and/or Sports Coaching. The successful applicant would be able to teach across a range of courses and subjects for differing awarding organisations such as NCFE and Pearson, from levels 1 to level 5. A background in Sports and Exercise Science would be an advantage, although applicants from a Sports Coaching background are also welcomed.
Possession of a recognised teaching qualification is also an advantage however, the right applicant would be supported to achieve this within 3 years of appointment.
