About the Role:

The Heineken USA (HUSA) People team is seeking to grow our Talent Acquisition (TA) team by bringing on board a dynamic, business-savvy strategist who thrives on building trust and achieving immediate impact with an entrepreneurial spirit. This position is centered on managing the entire recruitment process, prioritizing an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This individual will be responsible for running a seamless hiring process. Additionally, this individual will have a pivotal role in shaping and executing TA strategies and will also actively participate in other talent management and belonging (diversity, equity, & inclusion; “DEI”) projects as they emerge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

a. Lead strategic thinking in talent acquisition, forecasting future staffing needs, and aligning recruitment efforts with the company's long-term goals.

b. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

c. Identify current and future hiring needs based on business forecasts and workforce planning.

d. Analyze market trends, competitor practices, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation in talent acquisition.

2. Recruitment:

a. Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for various roles across the organization.

b. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.

c. Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

d. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.

3. Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

a. Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

b. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and guidance.

4. Talent Assessment and Selection:

a. Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit; update and refine interview process to align with workforce needs and trends and the TA strategy.

b. Partner with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and make data-driven hiring decisions.

c. Facilitate the negotiation and extension of job offers, ensuring competitive compensation packages and a smooth onboarding process.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

a. Track recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, diversity, etc., to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make continuous improvements.

b. Generate regular reports and analytics to provide insights into recruitment trends, challenges, and opportunities.

6. Compliance and Diversity:

a. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

b. Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract and retain a diverse workforce.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent acquisition tools.

- Demonstrated capability in strategic thinking, project management, self-motivation.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, candidates, and external partners.

- Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment software.

- Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet recruitment targets.

- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
