This role will sit within the subscriptions marketing team. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for running marketing campaigns as well as the acquisition and nurture of partnerships and strategic events management.

The role will encompass owning and running client marketing campaigns using the latest marketing automation and CRM technology to generate qualified leads, subscriber growth and drive user engagement. This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and requires working alongside editorial, data, and other stakeholders to ensure that campaigns achieve their objectives. The role is pivotal to the success and growth of the platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Use email marketing platforms and automations (Pardot and Sendgrid) to deliver effective direct marketing email campaigns.
  • Undertake the creation of email campaigns, including the building of dynamic templates, selection and segmentation of targeted audiences, and copywriting.
  • Execute strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across new and existing subscribers through the management of campaigns.
  • Strive to deliver MQL and SQL targets across the traditional and alternatives brands.
  • Support in the development of the events management strategy, including tactical planning, organisation, and delivery of campaigns.
  • Build strategic media & commercial partnerships including the acquisition and nurturing of partners.
  • Deliver squad marketing campaigns, including the management and maintenance of supporting promotional assets.
  • Monitor and regularly report on the effectiveness of all campaign activity within roles. Demonstrate ROI and strategic changes based on data analysis.
  • Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging across all contact points. Share all learnings and insights with the team.
  • Use market intelligence and customer insight and analysis to increase understanding of our audiences and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of digital marketing with a focus on email marketing and campaign planning
  • CRM and marketing automation knowledge and experience (previous experience with Salesforce, Pardot, and Sendgrid would be an advantage).
  • Highlightable experience working on strategic media partnerships and management of the relationship.
  • Events management as a marketing channel with experience using suppliers, and exhibiting at conferences.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to work on multiple projects, work with a high level of attention to detail, and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • B2B subscription marketing experience in a role with a focus on demand generation.
  • Strong understanding of reporting on campaign effectiveness and customer engagement - experience using Google Analytics would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A self-starter, able to work solo and lead multiple projects at once.
