DescriptionWe are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Administrative Assistant for our client in St. Rose, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative and office support duties in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Fielding telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate parties
  • Processing and organizing all paperwork related to the job function
  • Communicating directly with mortgage companies to resolve issues or inquiries
  • Receiving and directing visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel
  • Performing various tasks such as word processing, filing, and faxing
  • Providing support on diverse projects for other employees as needed
  • Utilizing strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel for daily tasks
  • Conducting internet research for various job functions
  • Utilizing excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills in all interactions
  • Leveraging previous experience in an Administrative Assistant role to perform tasks effectively and efficiently
Requirements
  • Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Displays ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Shows proficiency in managing calendars and scheduling appointments
  • Has experience with data entry and record keeping
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Shows adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills
  • Has experience handling confidential information
  • Possesses high school diploma or equivalent
  • Displays professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Has experience in an administrative role, preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrates ability to learn new software and systems quickly
