About The Role
This newly-created position offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement across all elements of the Relectrify employee experience. Working closely with the People Operations Manager, you will support activities across people, talent acquisition, and workplace, ensuring our team is setup for success.
There's lots of exciting (and less exciting, but very necessary) work to be done as we prepare to scale our team internationally, the ideal candidate will be able identify improvement opportunities, communicate expertly, and be just as willing to tackle the unglamorous tasks as they are the glamorous ones, understanding that all work that propels the team forward is important.
You can expect to:
- Be the go-to person for inbound queries from the Relectrify team and job candidates, operating with a strong awareness of when issues require escalation
- Provide administrative support across P&C activities including drafting of documents, developing processes, maintaining employee records, and creating training resources
- Support hiring activities including scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, and completing pre-employment checks
- Coordinate candidate onboarding activities including setting up workspace and tech requirements, scheduling of probation reviews, and hosting onboarding and induction sessions
- Manage office requirements for Relectrify HQ e.g ordering and restocking of supplies, event organisation, managing external vendors, workspace improvement projects, repairs & maintenance
- Coordinate and improve internal rituals (our regular meetings and communications) and team events.
Requirements
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a growing organisation
- A strong desire to grow professionally, to improve the state of work, and support individuals and teams to thrive
- Understanding of "best practice" processes and proven ability to contribute to their development and application
- Well-developed communication and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- A fast learner, and the ability to quickly adapt and pick up new digital tools and platforms
- Ability to work autonomously and use your own initiative, while also recognising when matters require escalation
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times, and effectively handle sensitive employee data or information
- A curiosity and passion for all things people and culture
- Experience utilising HRIS and ATS software - bonus points if you have experience with BambooHR and/or Workable
- Experience in cleantech or renewables industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or equivalent
- Experience supporting talent acquisition activities
- Office or facilities Management experience
- Experience with "startup" technologies such as GoogleSuite, Slack, Confluence
- Experience supporting global teams
