Job Title: PPC Specialist

Industry: Marketing/Advertising

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in-office / Downtown Chicago, near the Old Post Office

Compensation: $70-$100K USD

As a PPC Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and optimize paid search strategy across a rapidly growing number of industries.
  • Own performance outcomes for specific accounts, developing a deep understanding of KPIs impacting P&L.
  • Build scalable processes that can be seamlessly incorporated across multiple verticals.
  • Outline Paid Search strategy for new verticals by identifying key topics and overseeing account structures.
  • Facilitate business development pitches by translating account performance into growth and optimization opportunities for our partners.
  • Maintain an A/B testing pipeline to deliver insights and drive strategy; strive to constantly improve upon account performance, iterating on wins and learning quickly from losses.
  • Liaise with Google account management team to remain on the cutting edge of Ads trends.
  • Monitor and react to performance trends in Google and Bing Ads to increase our competitiveness in SEM space.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, continuously identifying areas of potential optimization.
  • Routinely conduct and update competitiveness analyses in the verticals we participate in and identify opportunities to test and improve keyword coverage and ad copy.

This is a hybrid role. The team works out of our downtown office 3 days per week, with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week. This is not a fully remote position.

YOU ARE/HAVE:

As a Junior PPC Marketing Specialist -

  • A university degree - preferably B.Sc.
  • Graduated magna cum laude or High SAT/GMAT score
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience managing paid search campaigns
  • Excellent analytical decision-making skills
  • Full proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel

As a Intermediate-Senior PPC Marketing Specialist -

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, direct experience with bank marketing preferred
  • Have a high level of expertise in acquisition and growth marketing tactics
  • Strong Excel skills
