About The Role

We are looking to hire a full time Social Media and Marketing Manager. As the Social Media and Marketing Manager, you will play a key role within our marketing organization. You will be responsible for defining and executing our social media strategy on our leading platforms and helping to identify new opportunities. You will also execute our influencer marketing strategies and support on affiliate strategies to align with our brand vision and objectives. You can track key metrics and possess a keen sense of visual storytelling and a creative point of view.

The social media and marketing manager will be responsible for bringing our brand to life on social media. You’ll oversee social strategy, and conceive, plan, execute, and post creative social content that connects with audiences. We are looking for someone who can conceive strategically sound, social-first ideas—and execute on those ideas in order to grow a passionate audience base.

  • Customer Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition by developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and compelling content to support marketing initiatives and increase brand awareness. Capture user-generated content for organic marketing
  • Social Media Community Management: Develop and engage an organic social following through relevant content and active community management on primary social media channels
  • PR and Influencer Marketing: Identify and execute collaborations with influencers to amplify brand reach and generate buzz. Build and maintain relationships with relevant media outlets to secure media coverage
  • Partnerships: Source and execute strategic partnerships with other emerging brands
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to gain insights into consumer behavior, market trends, and competitors. Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies to maximize ROI. Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics

Duties:

  • Ideate and execute an innovative and brand-aligned social content strategy across multi-platforms (IG, TikTok, Pinterest).
  • Create and execute a timely and impactful social media content calendar that incorporates highlights from merchandising, key product launches, PR moments, marketing events, and other brand moments.
  • Think strategically to translate data and insights into creative, social-first content that delivers results.
  • Drive significant growth and engagement across all platforms, hitting team’s goals and KPIs
  • Manage performance analytics and reporting focused on audience demographics, engagement metrics, social media campaigns, online reviews/feedback, and overall social growth strategy.
  • Concept, develop, and execute content (inclusive of art direction and graphic design) for paid and organic social media channels, inclusive of Instagram grid posts, IG stories, Reels, TikTok, and Pinterest, among others.
  • Stay abreast of the social media landscape (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, influencers and creators, etc.) and infuse trends into brand-relevant design executions.
  • Research, vet, contract, and brief influencer partners for campaigns and brand activation initiatives
  • Oversee influencer gifting and seeding strategies
  • Stay updated on marketing, cultural, and social media trends, serving as an expert in the space

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of direct experience in DTC marketing, social media management & content creation
  • Creative thinker with a passion for building outstanding consumer brands
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to effectively convey brand messaging and engage with target audiences
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently. Energized by challenges and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities/deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work collaboratively as a team player within the department and cross functional teams
  • Self-starter personality; driven by deadlines with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction

Salary Range: DOE $50,000.00- $65,000

Compensation varies based on experience and location, and certain positions may include bonuses in their salary packages. Additionally, compensation levels differ in California, Washington, and New York City.
