As a School Receptionist, you will be the face of our school, providing a warm welcome and professional assistance to all visitors and callers. You will play a key role in managing the reception area, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents.

- Greet visitors, parents, and pupils with a friendly and welcoming demeanour, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members or departments.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as sorting mail, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events, including scheduling rooms and sending out reminders.
- Provide information and assistance to parents and visitors regarding school policies, procedures, and services.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including pupil attendance and visitor logs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth flow of communication and operations within the school.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
