DescriptionWe are currently seeking a resourceful and experienced Contract Recruiter for a prominent non-profit organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and selecting high-quality candidates to match our mission-driven culture. The key recruitment tools used will be BambooHR, Indeed, and LinkedIn. This position requires the candidate to reside in Las Vegas and be able to work in-office on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize BambooHR, Indeed, and LinkedIn as primary platforms for sourcing top-notch potential candidates.
  • Define and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies tailored to specific role requirements and organizational values.
  • Write and post job descriptions across multiple job boards and professional networking sites.
  • Evaluate applications, screen candidates through initial interviews, and recommend potential hires.
  • Facilitate and follow up on communication with applicants.
  • Schedule interviews in collaboration with the hiring team, coordinate logistics, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR personnel to understand position requirements, team functions, and long-term objectives of the organization.
  • Leverage social media, job boards, internal databases, and referrals to identify potential candidates.
  • Maintain regular and transparent communication with candidates, providing feedback and updates about their application status.
  • Comply with relevant employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter), ideally within the non-profit sector.
  • Proficiency in using BambooHR, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other relevant professional networking sites.
  • Experience with candidate sourcing solutions.
  • Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (like video or panel interviews).
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation pertinent to the recruitment process.
